A realistic look at modern relationships, it's the most brutally honest relationship drama I've ever seen. It doesn't butter things up, it just tells it how it is. Brilliant performances from Gosling and Williams, possibly career bests.
Along with the very good, Slightly edgy directing. It's a very sad but very true depiction of relationships, and will speak to anyone who has experienced any failed relationships in the past, which I'm sure is most people.
