A love story that wasn't. One that couldn't survive the initial passion between these two lovestruck characters. This couple, unbeknownst to them in the hot and heavy early beginnings, is incapable of realizing that each are on two separate paths with different outlooks on life and success.
Cianfrance shows us the past isn't necessarily a good indication of the future.
