Look, I completely agree with this movie's message of not making generalizations about Christians because there are intolerant and hateful ones, which is why it's so hard to accept that it's not well done.
The performances are good for the most part, but the characters are so far fetched, and the atmosphere of a college is way off base. I have a hard time believing that this university was created exclusively for religiously intolerant atheists, and that if you didn't wanna be an outcast, you couldn't be a Christian.
It's just odd.
