I really liked "Blue Like Jazz". The film is not perfect but the storyline of a Reed college student rediscovering his spiritual roots in a non-spiritual place resonates. The movie is funny and quirky.
It avoids preachy situations and dialogue for a more realistic tone. If one calls this a "Christian film" (which I'm not sure the makers would like), than this is probably the best one that has ever been made.
