Review of Blood Beach (1980) by James O — 18 Apr 2011

While 1981 is most noted for the abundance of slashers coming out, there were some monster flicks popping up here and there. One of these is Blood Beach. While most people don't like it because of its extensive scenes of talking, some of the conversations are amusing.

The kill scenes are great, and the reveal of the monster at the end is also great, with some awesome FX. The ending is open for a sequel, but, if you ask me, its better off without one.
