Review of Black Water (2008) by Louise P — 06 Jul 2009

I actually expected this to be quite rubbish, but it wasn't bad. The unoriginality and tedium of the storyline was countered by the good camerawork and the excellent, believable acting. I didn't give much of a shit if the characters got eaten or not, though.

Considering 90% of the film was just people sitting in a tree, it was watchable. The nighttime blackness, with arty croc shots, was good. quite tense in places.
