Review of Black Sunday (1960) by Stef I — 14 Jun 2011
I first saw this when I was ten and it scared me too death, especially the scene where the innkeeper sends her daughter to milk the cow. Aaaah. It's funny though, I've always enjoyed this movie but it wasn't until I threw it on last week that I realized it's one of my favourite movies ever.
It finally just clicked, and what a truly gorgeous masterpiece it is. I love everything about it, especially the atmosphere. All the beautiful and elaborate set designs, and those distant howling dogs.
Perfection.
