Review of Billy Jack (1971) by Tim K — 01 Dec 2008

I'd have rated it higher in the 70s, but as I age I have trouble sympathizing with the hippies. ;) Still, great martial arts action and like so many of it's genre, in this movie while the good guys have problems, it's obvious who the bad guys are.

Even if you loathe the politics and not-so-subtle messages, it's a must-see for martial artists and for those who wish to get an idea of the clashes of ideology of the 60s and 70s.
