"I see what other's can not."-"Dr" Barry Nyle (Michael Rogers).
Influences, that first come to the brain washed mind: Kubrick's 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY and A CLOCKWORK ORANGE, Ken Russel's ALTERED STATES and George's THX 1138.
"Bring home the mother load."-"Dr" Mercurio Arboria (Scott Hylands).
My crazy ass interpretation: A girl is being held (since birth) and trained, through mind control, to hone her telepathic ablities (the next step in human evolution), in a bleak, technic facility, backed by a secret occult (hence Barry's ledger), a sanction of the Illuminati (hence the pyrimids and shots of the the all seeing eye, throughtout the film). The founding "Dr" of the orginal experiment has become decrepited and a drug addict, and the new "Dr" has gone in a slightly differnt direction as he' receives a phone call (someone or something evil) and goes on a drug induced, ceremorial trip for knowledge (hence the third eye). Instead, he discovers The Dark Forrbidden Knowledge, which sends him over the "ledge". The girl escapes, but to where? As The Illuminati are in all aspects of your life (hence the child's toy of a Sentionaut in the home of a random family (while a brainwashing inaudible vioce is speaking) , and the saying 'No matter where you go, there you are.' pop up. Just but the pieces together.
