What can I say? I grew up on this movie receiving it for Christmas shortly after I joined a karate class. Though I dropped the class, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie practically ruining the tape. Many years later, I joined Taekwondo and gained a whole new appreciation for this movie. It's my customary psych up movie before all tournaments I compete in and I recently downloaded the soundtrack to workout to.
If you're a tkd student, I recommend this movie. I hope it's someday remade like karate kid but tkd is kept and better emphasized as the movie's martial art.
