Review of Before Sunrise (2005) by Seth Y — 23 Nov 2014
So simple, but so good. I've heard about Richard Linklater's "Before" trilogy many times, but never got around to checking it out. After watching this first film, I'm beyond excited to see the others.
The chemistry between Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy is possibly the best I've seen on-screen. It feels so authentic, which is usually the biggest issue I have with the romance genre. Linklater's dialogue is perfect, top-notch as usual.
I couldn't stop thinking about this movie after I saw it. It's fantastic.
