Review of The Houses October Built (2014) by Seth Y — 19 Oct 2014

Not a great film, but a fun entry into the muddled found footage genre. This story follows a group of friends that set out on a road trip to find the ultimate haunted attraction. Like most of these movies, it's not particularly scary, but it does capture the Halloween vibe quite well.

You know the quality acting that you usually get with these things, but for the most part the cast was pretty solid. The final sequence was a bit anti-climatic, but interesting nonetheless. I could see myself watching this one annually for a fun little horror flick.
