Beasts of the southern wild is a brilliant and magical narrative film, that offers entertainment on every cinematic level.....what I enjoyed most about the film is it's ability to avoid striking humanitarian chords and instead focus on the tradition and resiliency of bayou communities in Louisiana.

.....Ultimately somewhere on the far reaches of Americas southern borders there is a world unlike the majority of Americans will ever understand, a world that has withstood 300+ years of Hurricanes, a world that is considered paradise for some and a disadvantaged nightmare for others, a world that we are swept into with the creative genius of this films story writers, actors and directors!
