I think all the good ratings are to prove how open minded the crtic is to gays, rather than a true review. If anyone cares to see a REALLY good television drams regarding how the aids story unfolded, watch "And the Band Played On".
Julia Roberts scooting about in her motorized wheel chair made me think of the character in "Doctor Strangelove". I laughed when she was on screen. Maybe it worked better as a play.
