Review of Battleship Potemkin (1925) by Brad S — 19 Jul 2015
This is a silent movie about about a peasant revolt in 1905 Russia. As pure entertainment this movie rates quite low - as a work of art it's probably one of the best movies I've seen. Also, I'm not an expert on silent films, but I assume that some of the work done here was well ahead of its time.
