Saw this at Cine Lumiere at L'institut Francais and, yes, that is as wanky as it sounds. Liked the subject matter, liked the montages, loved the scene on the stairs, lots of stairs involved both on and off the ship. Propaganda done well.

Fist/Anger montage.
Tracking shot on the stairs.
Music at the climax.
