Worth the watch if only for the odessa staircase sequence. and some of the best silent film editing out there. quick cuts in some scenes that really drive home. other parts, though, are a bit overdone.
im not one to question landmark filmmakers like eisenstein too much but I think there could have been some scenes that could have had more in them. but the staircase sequence is incredible. the editing, the images, and what they stand for is worthy of your time.
