The story is interesting and thought-provoking, and the film is on the whole well-done. The characters and their actions are usually annoying, but are actually quite realistic if you imagine how a group of high-schoolers would behave in such a situation.
The action gets rather corny toward the end, but not enough so to ruin the experience.
