Review of Battle for Haditha (2007) by Amrita S — 15 Apr 2009
Very violent, with weak performances by the English-speaking cast. The Iraqi cast were decent, and the underlying message of the film was great - I just wish they'd chosen better English actors. The storyline was fairly well-developed, and I feel it was probably truthful - in war, anything can happen, and people develop trigger-finger.
All in all, not for the faint of heart or weak of stomach. B-.
