Review of House of Dark Shadows (1970) by Tene 3 — 07 Jan 2008
Wow, what a total disappointment! The movie is too quickly paced, disallowing the eerieness that Dark Shadows the show had, which accumulated over time; not only that, but the plot follows the boring old horror motif where nearly everyone dies.
The language was harsher than the show; the blood was graphic and garrulous. It's also too in-you-face as opposed to creepy and subtle. What happened guys?
