Review of Batman: The Killing Joke (2016) by Lee A — 09 Sep 2016
I finally got around to seeing this. It really isn't that much grimmer, darker, etc. than a lot of the other animated Batman flicks, I think it was the rating that gave me that outlook. Besides the prologue, it's pretty faithful to the book, though I remember being the book being a lot more powerful and disturbing.
I can see why a lot of people had problems with the added prologue with Batgirl. It wasn't horrible, but it didn't make the story loads better either. If you want to know more about a possible storyline of how the Joker became the Joker and want to see Batman laugh as Batman, check this out.
