This is a terrible Batman movie! DC usually creates GREAT animated movies, but they dropped the ball on this one. The story just kind of slogs on, rolling over anything interesting that happens. The start of the story has no real influence on the end of the movie.

Its like the creators just sort of picked the middle of nowhere to start the story. This movie feels almost like its summarizing a very bad, meandering, unfinished Batman series.
