Hadn't seen this film in a long time and whilst it has dated, the lurid content and the tricksy plot make this a lot of fun.
Outside of Stone's character, everyone else is a walking cliche. Douglas can play this kind or role in his sleep and he is sleezily watchable. The dialogue in the film is frankly awful but it adds to the fun. Stone makes good use of her screen time. She is pretty enigmatic and makes her character more intriguing than perhaps she actually is.
Add to all of this the twisty plot and you have an entertaining film that chucks in the sex and violence in spades. Yes, it is forgetable trash, but its fun whilst it lasts....
