Review of Basic Instinct (1992) by Jude A — 30 Aug 2009

This movie is so cheap and confusing. The ending is extremely forced and the performances are crappy, very crappy. The killer is whoever the writer, or director wants them to be, is one of those where every time the plot becomes a drag, they show a boob, or a sex scene or someone dies.

It's so stupid, that it goes twist, after twist and afters twist that the resolution is merely tacky. Visually is very cool, I'll give Verhoeven that, the long shots and the cinematography, but if you take that away, you got a piece of crap!
