A film about a young man on leave to go see his family during WWII. It has many touching moments as he experiences Russia during wartime. My favorite part having to be when he goes to visit the man's fiance and give her the soap.
Not as good as films like 'Come and See' and 'The Cranes Are Flying' but still quite good.
