Review of Autumn Sonata (1978) by Nikolas T — 25 Oct 2011
A strange and seemingly plain drama that pulls the carpet from under you and knocks you before you hit the ground with one of the most amazing scenes. As the daughter reveals to her mother her views on her childhood and upbringing, you can't help but suffer all the emotions she pours out of the screen.
Liv Ullmanns performance is unsettling to say the least.
