Review of Autumn Sonata (1978) by Rachelandjohn D — 06 Mar 2012
Outstanding Bergman film starring Ingrid Bergman, in her last stages of life, and Liv Ullmann. This is a very dark intensely emotional film about a mother/daughter relationship and the can of worms that are opened up, resentments, guilt and sadness during a visit from the mother (Ingrid Bergman) to her daughter (Liv Ullmann).
