Review of Autumn Sonata (1978) by Tyler's S — 05 Feb 2011
This is a really devastating film. It isn't as visually impressive as some of Ingmar Bergman's other movies, but the performances are amazing. Ingrid Bergman is excellent. She gives a raw, realistic performance that is so different from her classic Hollywood roots, it's hard to believe it's the same actress.
It's exciting seeing the two Bergman's team up.
