Review of Army of the Dead (2021) by Theryanflaherty — 23 May 2021

An interesting premise that simply moves from point A to point B in the least interesting way possible. The lack of clever writing, poor pacing/structure and flat acting create a disconnect throughout the film that makes it nearly impossible to ever become invested or engaged.

This seemed like it would be dumb fun, which would have been fine, but unfortunately there’s really no fun at all (besides possibly the opening scene)...it’s just dumb.
