Review of Army of the Dead (2021) by Maitrify — 25 May 2021
It's an alright movie -- mostly just a 'roller coaster' movie. Lots of action, light on plot. Some plot points, such as with Scott's daughter, are just inane and idiotic. Other aspects (like the helicopter pilot, the safe cracker, etc) are very enjoyable.
As long as you suspend belief and just enjoy the ride, it's definitely a decent zombie movie. By no means a thinker however. Just decently good actors with good special effects in an above-average, unique concept.
It was fun and if you own Netflix, it's definitely worth a watch but if not, feel free to skip.
