Great performances...but so many questions. Why does this seemingly stable and mature couple keep surrounding themselves with emotional train wrecks? (And why do they keep plying these poor people with alcohol?) Why does Jerri, a counselor, not confront her emotionally fragile friend with more honesty from the start.
Is there never a moment of discord in this couple's day to day life? I found it very hard to connect with such extreme (almost cartoon-like) characters and even harder to come up with any real meaning to walk away with.
