Review of Another Year (2010) by Robert G — 17 Jul 2013
This is a very interesting idea for a movie, an idea I think they should've made into a movie a long time ago. It is just about a family over the course of the year, and everything that happens to that family in the year.
It is a very simple idea. Executed very well by a great director. The writing is exquisite and the acting is exactly what one would expect from a Mike Leigh film. One can easily see why this was nominated for an Oscar for best screenplay.
I highly recommend the film.
