Woody's certainly no stranger to making movies told from a first person perspective, but I think this may be the first time a woman has played the Woody Allen Role, complete with narration. The almost experimental, nonlinear structure was somewhat reminiscent of what Allen did with Annie Hall, but told with a straight face.
