This is a great book to film adaptation. Perfectly cast and beautifully shot. Anyone who's read the novels will see everything they imagined from Montgomery's exception descriptions. Every few years I get the urge to re watch this(and the sequal of course!).
Sad they never made the whol series as this really only goes up to book 3. Avoid "The Continuing Story" though - it's not at all related to the books and was just a way for the studio to cash in on some more revenue.
It will leave you wishing you hadn't seen it!
