Review of Anne of Green Gables (1985) by Amanda C — 27 Jun 2011
I loved this film when I was younger, so when I saw it again it rekindled my feelings toward it all over again. Sure, Anne's language is over the top in its floweriness, but that's part of what makes the film so good: you have to meet the film where it takes place, and just soak in the drama and the pastoral beauty of Prince Edward Island.
