Review of Angel-A (2005) by Kimberly S — 07 Feb 2008
This is a nice take on the angel from heaven helping out a troubled human. What makes it even better is the casting in that what is not made up in height difference is certainly made up in character. The main character who in real life is missing a hand and always has his hand in his pocket, does a perfect job of playing a compulsive liar/loser type and the angel who is beautiful yet almost giant in the film is not your typical bombshell.
The imagery is nice and the love story, however unlikely doesnt ruin anything.
