Review of Angel-A (2005) by Tanvir M — 27 Oct 2012
Watched it in Paris, so the ambience added something extra. This is Luc Besson's take on the classic 'Wings of Desire', and turns out predictably to be lushly photographed (in black and white, a clear homage to Wings of Desire), funny, violent and making little sense, but enjoyable at the end of the day.
