Review of Angel-A (2005) by 3Guys 1 — 09 Mar 2012
A rare thing these days, a real character piece. Two disparate characters are thrown together on the worst days of their lives and start to talk about everything and nothing. The statuesque Angela and the hunched Andre are unlikely friends at best and polar opposites in character and yet together their day around the city seems to teach them a lot about the meaning of existence.
A personal favorite and a film I return to time and again.
