Review of Angel-A (2005) by Lucia S — 28 Mar 2008
Visually stunning film with a familiar storyline (a la "Its a wonderful life") with something of a twist. Who knew and angel could be so naughty? The rapport and bantering exchange between Andre and Angela was at times comedic then dramatic, then just plain human.
The direction was flawless and the cinematography was SPECTACULAR. Why can't we all get angels to help us out? While the ending was a bit predictable, my love for the rest of the film makes that forgivable.
Great cast too btw. A definite classic in my opinion.
