While it's disappointing to learn that the French make movies about angels falling to earth too, it is nice to know that they do it in classy black and white. Nice to see Jamel Debbouze from Amelie again- although his wardrobe choice is about the same.
This movie is beautifully shot in a near empty Paris, so has a haunting beauty, but it does all fall apart a bit at the end. Still it is worth watching, it is a treat for anyone besotted with Paris like me.
