Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by Hugh J — 10 Sep 2008
It's a decent film. Not as great as I had hoped, though. It's more geared towards the drama than the comedy and that takes away from the witty dialogue I was looking for. I also could've done without all the singing and the kids.
I mean, seriously, did they have to pad the movie to 114 minutes or something? Why the fuck did they throw in an extended sequence where a bunch of bitch kids are singing when they should've been wrapping up the actual movie.
