Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by Keira R — 26 Jan 2013
I just LOVE Cary Grant!!! He's been great in everything I've seen him & this one's no exception. The movie drags at the beginning -- un poco latosa. But it picks up & I enjoyed seeing how Nickie & Terry manage to avoid everyone on that cruise so they could see each other.
They're funny, witty & totally adorable. Once again, Marni Nixon dubs Deborah Kerr's singing voice. Definitely a classic movie. Cute ending but it felt very rushed. He finds out the truth, they kiss, the end.
Slightly disappointed in that.
