An Affair to Remember is at times very beautiful and romantic, but it is also very illogical and unrealistic in certain scenes (every scene with Terry's husband), the second half of the film is crowded with songs which do not fit at all and Grant's and Kerr's chemistry isn't evident and the acting is, unusually for the two, not so great.
