Naturally, I was curious to see the film that inspired the wonderful romantic comedy Sleepless In Seattle and I was not disappointed in the slightest. While nowadays a film with this kind of premise would most likely suck, the plot holds together surprisingly well thanks to great writing that is both witty and heartfelt.
The superb story is also greatly bolstered and taken to even greater heights thanks to the two leads who have great chemistry and make every moment of watching the film a pure delight. An Affair To Remember is a true classic of the romance genre and should be viewed by anyone who loves a good romance film.
