Review of Amarcord (1973) by Ojas V — 14 Feb 2009
A nice retrospective of small town italian life during the age of fascism. There are wonderful characters, who inhabit this place. It is fun to see the community bond, and share experiences and heartache.
It is less surreal than Fellini's other films, and definitely lacks a real coherent plot, but it's whimsical nature is definitely endearing. You will laugh, im almost positive.
