This film changed my life, and I was lucky enough to tell this to Mr. Scheider when he recieved his Lifetime Achievement Award at the SunDeis Film Festival. This is the film to experience to know what it is like to be a tortured artist with so much to say, with so much talent, and so many self-destructive tendencies that it is sometimes too hard to let the show go on.
Thank you Bob Fosse and Roy Scheider: you saved my life.
