I didn't know much about this movie other than the fact that it was a musical about a stage director. Based off of its title, I assumed that it was going to be sort of like "Grease". However, I was completely surprised and blown away by how dark, unsettling, and haunting the film was.
Its representation of death was masterfully done and absorbing at times. Also, the editing was equally impressive. It had the power to suck me in throughout its entirety.
