Review of All That Jazz (1979) by Melody S — 16 Feb 2008
Some may think it distasteful to watch this in the week Scheider dies ... but one of my favourite things about the movie is its attitude to death, and I can't think of a better way to say "bye bye" to the guy .
.. it's a beautiful movie ... so sexy, so funny, so moving ("you are the most beautiful thing in the world and I love you"), and that final gasping snap back to "the only reality", the body bag zipped shut, it just overwhelms me every time.
My only question is what happened to Erzsebet Foldi who plays his daughter? She was amazing in this then poof! gone!
