Review of Aliens (1986) by Petros T — 25 Feb 2017
"Aliens" is an awesome sequel. It builds and expands on the mythology and delivers fully on the action front. It might not strike quite the same atmosphere that sucked me in Ridley Scott's original, but damn is James Cameron running a tight ship.
The action is great throughout, especially in the second part, where the film feels like the gift that keeps on giving, culminating in the ultimate bitch-fight: Ripley vs. mama Alien. 10-year-old Carrie Henn, in her only film, also did a very good job.
