An action extraordinaire blockbuster sci-fi masterpiece. To take a franchise from horror into action was a brave move from James Cameron. But it paid off with one of the greatest sci-fi movies ever made. It's had so many influences even on today's movies. It is essential viewing for everyone over 18 in my opinion.
The cinemetrography, direction, sound design, special effects and the performances are amazing. In many ways it is better than the original, despite the fact they are such different movies. To me, this is a great way of introducting someone to Sci-Fi to show its immense contribution to cinema.
